Information you give us

The franchise inquiry form collects the information you choose to enter: your first and last name, phone number, email address, the area or territory you are interested in, how you expect to participate in the business, your primary experience and intended day-to-day involvement, your launch timing, a broad range describing available investment capital, your likely funding approach, and an optional note about your interest. It also records that you checked the consent box, the exact consent language shown to you, and the date and time you submitted the form.

We ask only for broad financial ranges. Please do not send account numbers, tax identification numbers, government identification numbers, or other sensitive financial records through this website.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider processes standard technical information required to deliver and secure the site, such as IP address, browser and device type, referring page, requested URL, and date and time of the request. This data is used for security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting and reliability.

Cookies and tracking

As of the date above, this website does not set advertising or analytics cookies, does not use cross-site tracking technologies, does not load third-party scripts or trackers, and does not participate in targeted advertising. If we add analytics or advertising technologies in the future, we will update this notice and the date above before or when they go live.

How we use information

We use inquiry information to evaluate franchise fit, to contact you about the franchise opportunity by phone and email, for internal territory and opportunity planning, to keep records of the consent you provided, and to comply with legal obligations, including franchise sales recordkeeping requirements.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with: service providers who process it on our behalf and under contract, currently our website host and our transactional email provider, which deliver the site and route your inquiry to our franchise development team; our professional advisors, such as counsel and accountants, where relevant; and government authorities or other parties where required by law, subpoena or legal process, or to protect our rights, safety or property.

How long we keep it

We retain franchise inquiry records for as long as needed to evaluate and pursue the opportunity and to satisfy recordkeeping obligations that apply to franchise sales, and we then delete or de-identify them. Consent records are kept for the period required to demonstrate compliance with telemarketing and franchise sales laws. Technical server logs are kept on our host’s standard retention schedule.

Security

The site is served over encrypted connections, inquiry data is transmitted over TLS, and access to inquiry records is limited to HumiTEC personnel who need it for franchise development. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you and how we use it; to obtain a copy of it or have it ported to another provider; to correct inaccurate information; to have it deleted; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising, which we do not engage in; to limit the use of sensitive personal information, which we do not collect through this site; and to be free from discrimination for exercising any of these rights. Residents of California, and of other states with comprehensive privacy laws that took effect through 2025 and 2026, may have some or all of these rights.

We will verify your request by matching the information you provide against what we hold, and will respond within the time the applicable law allows. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization. If we decline a request, you may ask us to reconsider by replying to our response.

Withdrawing consent to contact

You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time by emailing privacy@humitec.net or calling +1 (800) 218-8507, and we will add you to our internal do-not-call list. Withdrawing consent does not affect contact that occurred before we processed the request.

Children

This website is directed to prospective business owners and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as our practices or the law change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised, and material changes will be reflected there.
